MS IE is buggy when using more than the four default frames á 3HE. Additional frames can be created, but it's not possible to place modules on them properly.
Update: This is solved in IE8!

Modular Planner v1.2.2 contains a new simplified but stable patch engine without third-party dependencies, based on the Raphaël vector library.

Modular Planner v1.2.1 introduces a new compact mode for all those equipped with smaller screens. You can switch modes using the mode selector in the bottom left corner of the application. Compact mode saves 274 pixels width.

You can use this drawing tool to draw "cables" and create patches for your modular, which then may be printed as screenshots.
Please note: You're not able to move modules while the drawing engine is running. If you stop and restart it, all cables will be lost. Only the four default frames may be used. Deleting cables is not possible so far.
